Dr. esthé is a professional Korean skincare line, and it's one of the two brands Desiree reaches for most often in the treatment room. Thirteen of their products are stocked here, chosen over the years rather than taken as a package.

The range falls into three parts. The AC line is built for breakouts and congestion — a cleanser, a serum, the solution swabs and the AC and A2 set. The Rejuvenating line is the opposite end: ampoule, cream, toner and lifting mask, for skin that has thinned or lost its bounce. And there are two sun products, including the Sun Protection Mild, a titanium dioxide mineral sunscreen.

If you're breaking out, start with the AC range — and ask Desiree which piece of it, because the swabs and the serum do different jobs.

If your concern is firmness or fine lines, the Rejuvenating Ampoule is where most people begin.

If you've never used a mineral sunscreen because the ones you tried sat white on your skin, the Sun Protection Mild is worth trying. It's one of only three formulations on this whole store that has been confirmed against the packaging.
